During his five season spell with United the big Dutchman scored 150 goals in just 219 appearances and helped the club win one League title, one F.A. Cup and two League Cups.
After leaving Manchester United in 2006 Van Nistelrooy moved to Real Madrid where he picked up where he left off and to date has scored 64 goals in 90 games for the Spanish giants, finishing La Liga's top goalscorer in his first season.
As well as playing for Manchester United and Real Madrid, Van Nistelrooy played for his homeland clubs of Den Bosch, Heerenveen, PSV Eindhoven and the Dutch national side. All in all Ruud Van Nistelrooy has played 575 professional games, scoring a breathtaking 358 goals.
