Ole Gunnar Solksjaer IntroductionOle Gunnar Solskjaer had an unusual career, he went form being plucked from obscurity whilst playing for Norwegian Club Molde, at the of 23, to scoring the winning goal in the UEFA Champions League final in just three seasons. His later career was played by an ongoing knee injury, but it was the time before this that the player would become famous for.The Norwegian hitman is arguably the best finishers ever the have graced the hallowed turf of Old Trafford and finished his playing career with The Red Devils, with 126 goals in 366 appearances, with a lot of them coming as a substitute. Although injury plagued during his latter years at United Solskjaer still managed to win seven League titles, two F.A. Cups, one League Cup and the UEFA Champions League during his eleven year stint. Before playing for Manchester United, Solskjaer cut his teeth in his homeland of Norway where he scored an incredible 146 goals in 151 games, before securing a dream move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2006. His footballing talents didn't go unnoticed by his national team managers as he gained 67 international caps, scoring 23 goals.
