George Wall was an England international outside left who scored 88 goals in 317 appearances for Manchester United between 1905 and 1915, before World War I put a halt to his Reds career. Wall made a goalscoring debut for Manchester United on 7 April 1906 in a 1-0 victory over Leyton Orient at Millfields Road and played his last game on 13 March 1915 in a 1-0 victory over Bradford City at Old Trafford. After leaving United Wall went on to play for Oldham Athletic, Hamilton Academical, Rochdale and Ashton National, before hanging his boots up in 1926 at the age 43.
In his ten seasons at United George Wall won two League Championships (1908 and 1911) and the FA Cup in 1909.
