Charlie Roberts was Manchester United's first League Championship winning captain, who played 299 matches for the club between 1904 and 1914; scoring 23 goals.
Roberts made his United debut on 23 April 1904 in a 2-0 win over Burton United, and got his first goal for the club on 24 September 1904 in a 2-1 victory over Glossop at Bank Street.
During his time with Manchester United, Charlie Roberts won two League Championships in 1908 and 1911 and the FA Cup in 1909.
