Bob Valentine was a goalkeeper who played for Manchester United as well as rugby league for swinton, He shared such a feat with fellow goalkeeper John Sutcliffe, who played for United during the 1903-04 season.
Between 1905 and 1906 he played 9 times for The Reds; making his debut on the last day of the 1904-05 season on 24 April in a 3-1 defeat over Blackpool, alongside fellow debutant Dick Holden.
Bob Valentine won no major medals while at Manchester United.
