Ben Foster Introduction Before signing for Manchester United in 2005 the big kicking goalkeeper plied his trade the hard way. After commencing his football career with local county side Racing Club Warwick at the age of 18 he was picked up by Stoke City, where he spent four seasons without playing competitive game, instead being loaned out to the likes of Bristol City, Tiverton Town, Stafford Rangers, Kiddiminster Harriers and Wrexham respectivley where he played a collective total of just 25 games.While at Wrexham his potential was relayed to Sir Alex Ferguson by son Darren, who was managing Wrexham at the time and swiflty secured a shock move to Old Trafford. After moving to Manchester United the player was sent out on loan to Watford for two seasons to again experience. Although Foster has been plagued by injuries during recent years he's been capped by England and remains on track to have a glittering Manchester United career.
